The Little Pine Lodge is a spacious, cozy and rustic three bedroom lodge spanning the entire second floor of the Little Pine Lodge building on Main Street in the heart of Mitchell.

It offers 1650 square feet of absolute charm and is within walking distance to the 147 year old Wheeler County Trading Company, Tiger Town Brewing Co. and Judy's Place.

The lodge boasts original hardwood floors and beautiful structure walls of horizontal tongue and groove pine planks.

Mitchell is located at the 66 mile post on US HWY 26 in the beautiful high desert of Central Oregon.

 The Painted Hills Unit of the John Day Fossil Beds National Monument is only 9 miles from Mitchell.

The Clarno Unit is about 60 miles.

The Sheep Rock Unit is about 35 miles.

All three units are open year-round.

There are no visitor centers in the Painted Hills or Clarno units.

It offers 3 spacious bedrooms and 1 large Full Bathroom with a shower (no bathtub). It has a small kitchenette with a mini-fridge (no freezer), sink, 2-burner stove, deluxe toaster oven with rotisserie, microwave oven, automatic drip coffeemaker and electric tea kettle for your convenience.

There is a big screen TV that offers a variety of channels via VIZIO.

Cell phone service in our area is limited, at best, but WiFi is available!
